Last year, I decided that I would try to read at least 30 minutes a day. This goal is specific to books, and those books could be non-fiction or fiction.
When I decided on this goal, I was reading my favorite book series, Spice and Wolf by Isuna Hasekura. However, after reading the series, as well as the spin off series, Wolf and Parchment, I have found that I have started to slack on my reading.
Currently, I am reading The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferris, and although I am finding the book informative, I have noticed that I slack off on reading it, and I am not as eager to sit down and read it like I was with Spice and Wolf.
Now, this is likely because Spice and Wolf was a fiction light novel series that was exciting to read, while The 4-Hour Workweek has me taking notes, answering questions, and using my brain. Obviously, the former sounds more fun than the latter.
I should really double down on reading more, and fight back the urge to slack off!
